Thanks for stopping by to learn a little bit more about me. I am an introvert that seriously loves people, in small doses: but I love hard. I long for detailed conversation, I love listening, understanding someone, and visualizing life from a different vantage point. That is why I've always known this industry was right for me. THE CHAIR is the best illustration of my area of comfort. Making people feel beautiful, encouraging someone to see what I see, to see the worth and beauty that they perhaps have not yet uncovered all while my hands get to create with color and shapes, which is literary my dream job. It actually exists and I am so blessed to get to live it out.
Now about the actual work. . . I have been in the industry a little over ten years. I travel, attend, watch, subscribe, and practice every chance I get. The need for education is endless as new trends are constant, and I absolutely believe in investing in my craft. I have obtained several additional certifications and specializations and will continue to pursue growth. I truly love the full spectrum of hair color, cutting and styling, and hate to pick just one "specialty" but I do have a sweet spot for blonding, and "natural" lived-in tones.
If there ever was a “most likely to become a stylist” award given, Adah would have been a sure recipient. She is originally from Georgia but has called Pensacola home since 2013. Adah exudes confidence and creativity. One of four siblings in a family that fosters creativity, Adah grew up exposed to the arts and was propelled to pursue her passions. Adah is a naturally gifted singer, an artist in many mediums, and has now embarked into her career as a hair stylist. We are so excited to welcome her into the MCH family.

Ashley hasn’t always known she wanted to “do hair”. Ashley’s artistic talent and exceptional attention to detail took her in a much different path. Ashley attended The University of Detroit Mercy seeking a degree in architecture, but soon realized something was missing. In the summer following her first year there, Ashley came to Pensacola, a place she had visited with her family as a child. It was here that she met her now husband, became part of our community, and began searching for a change in direction. Ashley wound up being present for the buildout process of our very own MCH. After many months of being a support to Maria here at the salon, and with the encouragement from her friends and family, Ashley enrolled in cosmetology school and learned that what had been missing was the personal connections and creative freedom this career fosters. Now equipped with the foundations of cosmetology and with the artist already on the inside of her, she found a perfect fit in our industry. We are thrilled to introduce you to her now as a licensed cosmetologist.
